You tackle the guy with the gun. He was not expecting this, and is surprised. You wrestle for a moment, and the gun goes off twice, killing him and another shot going down the passage. They trigger a stalactite to fall, killing his partner. The halfcat being tortured gets up and runs away out of the pit. In the pit you can see two passages going to the left and right. The left passage goes up, and the right down.
